Francis A. Blake, age 88 of Mount Prospect. Beloved husband of Carol Blake nee Wagner. Fond brother of Robert (Joan) Blake. Dear father of Steven (Stacie), Caryn (Robert) Grabanski, Kevin (Lorilee), Colleen (Tony) Valli, Jim (Kate) and Ryan Blake. Cherished grandfather of Megan (Mike), Brian (Holly), Sally, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Stephanie, Kylie, Taryn, Livio, Joe and Frankie. Great grandfather of William, Andrew, Evelyn and Delaney.
Frank was a lifelong Executive in the Insurance Industry, a veteran of the US Air Force and an avid golfer with an outstanding sense of humor and love of life.
Memorial Visitation Thursday 3:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect.
The visitation will continue Friday from 9:00 A.M. until Mass 10:00 A.M. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) and Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect.
Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
